Import and export
You can bring your data into Dushed from other apps, and you can take your data out at any time. Each type of item has its own Import / export page in the menu.

Files do not have an Import / export page yet. We plan to add one soon. Until then, you can open each file from the Files page and save a copy to your computer.

See Pricing.
Rules for all imports
- You can choose more than one file at a time.
- Together, the files in one import must not be larger than 30 MB.
- Dushed skips the items that you already have. To find them, it compares:
- Flashcards by question and answer.
- Notes by body.
- Bookmarks by URL.
- Kindle highlights by book and text.
- Web feeds by feed URL.
Limits at this time
- Each imported flashcard starts as a new flashcard. Dushed does not keep the review history, the due dates, or the suspended state from the file.
- A
.tarexport of flashcards or notes contains the files that they refer to. Dushed does not add those files to your library when you import the.tarfile. - An Anki import keeps the text and the tags. It does not import images or sounds.
- A Kindle highlights export does not keep the date of each highlight.
